I’m Julia Conoscenti and I am an actor and aspiring entertainment publicist? . At the age of nine, I knew I was destined to be on the big screen after fully directing, producing and writing a screenplay that my brother and neighbors starred in. Since then I’ve guest starred in multiple shows on networks including Nickelodeon and CBS. I love being able to embody human emotions and move people through a screen.
Coming from a Journalism background, I enjoy being in the middle of the news cycle. I am naturally drawn to current events and what is going on globally, so trying to integrate a clients story into today’s news is a fun challenge. I am drawn to the fact that Public Relations and Advertising allows students to flex their creative muscles in a collaborative environment. We do not have to color inside the lines.
I am very adaptable, outgoing and I possess strategic and critical thinking skills. I am always curious, and I carry a passion for providing companies and clients with my best creative work. I enjoy the thrill of the chase when engaging with new and unique businesses and pitching stories to the media. I use social media to not only participate in discussions but to build my network. I love interacting with new people everyday, and this career path allows me to meet incredibly diverse, interesting individuals with whom I establish a trusting relationship.
